Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, Kamal Thapa has said that his party will not budge from the stand of Hindu state. Addressing a Hindutwa Awareness Assembly organised by his party here on Saturday, Thapa said the RPP-N would continue its struggle both from the street and Parliament to restore Hindu status to Nepal. Also the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Thapa said Nepal has brought the new constitution by abiding by the democratic values. It was promulgated with the overwhelming majority of the parliamentarians.

However, the RPP-N accepts this constitution with reservation, he said. Anyone showing hostility to this constitution is to show undemocratic character, he argued. The DPM reminded that it was quite challenging for the CA to bring 31 political parties of diverse views and stand in one place and bring such democratic constitution. He further argued that the constitution has several salient features.
